Yeah, on election night I heard "landslide" and said "hu?, when do you call 5 or 6% a landslide"

I think they're looking at the electorate results and not the popular vote. Which is really silly.
I also think it's interesting how many of the conservatives I know are taking Obama's win a lot better then they did with Bush's win 4 or 8 years ago.

Why is it Republicans are such poor losers and feel the need to constantly pose false dilemma questions to mischaracterise those who oppose them?
Fortunately that's not actual true - the poor perception and low character of a few does not necessarily reflect on the majority.

i'd love to see you point out anything factually wrong here.
obama's win in popular votes was statistically milquetoast.

Democrats are never satisfied with a "big win"
[democrats] have to overreach for that "landslide" label
I assume you are aware that these are both unqualified (i.e blanket) statements, which as such are patently untrue.

It's called communication. We generalize in order to make even the most basic communication possible. Don't like it? Tough shit.

Obama got closer to 53%, but still, 51 vs. 53 is being treated much more differently than it should be, yes.

They're just so thrilled to have managed to win the popular vote, considering Clinton didn't carry the popular vote for either of his terms.
