Obama plays the race card
Not only did Obama play the race card, he has it backwards when it comes to injustice.
We have a deficit in this country when there is Scooter Libby justice for some and Jena justice for others;
Libby, of course, was convicted of lying to investigators after they came up empty trying to find someone in the administration who "leaked" information about Valerie Plame. Lewis was convicted and fined. Jena refers to the place where a gang of youths beat up someone who was of a different race...but the calls of racial injustice were made when the people committing the crime were put on trial. The attempts to charge the youths involved with second degree murder (which requires a weapon) were overturned, as they should have been. Justice in that case is not letting violent criminals free!
