Republicans are determined to "punish" early state primaries, but only half as much as Democrats.

I say scrap primaries altogether. We got much better presidents back in the days of smoke filled rooms.

They should rotate the state primaries while leaving the top five or so for late spring. Let the candidates test themselves in smaller state primaries while leaving enough delegates further out to make them demonstrate they won't flame out before the actual election.
