Will the Fed do the right thing on interest rates?

Outside of energy inflation is clearly not a problem. This is yet another signal that the Fed should cut interest rates (while still keeping the velocity of the money supply tight).
NEW YORK (AP) - Wall Street barreled higher again Friday after the week's most anticipated economic reading indicated that inflation excluding the price of gas remained tepid last month, easing some concerns that have jolted stock and bond markets in recent sessions. The Dow Jones industrial average advanced about 100 points, nearing its record trading high.

Wall Street understands the data, let's hope the Federal Reserve does, too.
