The Democrat witch hunt continues
In a disgusting display of partisan politics that violates the entire concept of a separation of power the Democrats issued a slew of subpoenas in the hopes of catching someone, anyone, in a misstatement they could blow up into a perjury charge.
WASHINGTON (AP) - Putting their congressional control to work, Democrats approved new subpoenas Wednesday - and a grant of immunity - for probes ranging from the prosecutor firings and White House political activities to President Bush's justification for the war in Iraq.
The Democrats are raping the Constitution and the MSM is holding down the Statue of Liberty because she's next in this train of evil.
Democrats said the broad array of investigations represents a revival of Congress' role after six years of little oversight of the Bush administration by Republican lawmakers. The White House is pushing back, refusing to allow officials to testify under oath about the firings and arguing that top officials already have answered questions about the administration's now-discredited claim that Iraq was seeking uranium for a bomb.
Repeating the lie that administration claims about Iraq seeking uranium were "discredited" the MSM acts as a willing ally of the Democrats in this brazen attempt to usurp power in this great country.
It is telling that the Democrats have issued no subpoenas for any Democrats who made the exact same claims as the Bush administration and used those claims to justify attacks against Iraq. This Orwellian nightmare is just the kind of thing we expect from a warped sense of perspective the Democrats hold. A perspective which excuses any and all crimes they commit while criminalizing ordinary, ethical behavior of their opponents.
The administration should respond not just with a "no", but a "Hell, No!", and a "Fuck You!" just for emphasis. These treasonous Democrats are ruining America with their disloyalty, dishonesty and disregard for truth, justice and the American Way.
Thank God we still have what's left of the Second Amendment or we all would soon be like the victims of Seung-Hui Cho: defenseless against a senseless, evil monster bent on destroying all those his irrational hatred made a target.
