Good news from Ohio

May 26, 2006 14:00

Ken Blackwell has dramatically narrowed the gap with his Democrat opponent for Governor.
Blackwell, Ohio's Secretary of State and a former Cincinnati mayor, cut Strickland's lead from double digits down to 6 percent. If the election took place today, Strickland, a congressman from Lisbon, Ohio, would garner 50 percent of the vote and Blackwell would get 44 percent. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.7 percent.

Republican Sen. Mike DeWine is leading his Democratic challenger, U.S. Rep. Sherrod Brown, 52 percent to 42 percent, according to the poll.

Ken Blackwell is a true Reagan Republican. I will be doing all that I can to see that he gets elected in November. (Do you hear that, McCain? I dare you...heck I double-dog dare you to try and stop me!)

ohio, republicans, ken blackwell
