Mike Peters: coward?

Feb 09, 2006 22:07

Cartoonist Mike Peters had the perfect opportunity to weigh in on the Islamic fascists and their use of propaganda to attack editorial cartoonists and free speech but instead chose to attack the Bush administration.

Now, I've always said that Mike Peters is one of the lying socialist weasels and would sooner sell his soul to the devil (which he may already done) than praise a Republican, but how cowardly to you have to be to not only ignore the current controversy over editorial cartoons that portray Islamic figures but to pretend that the Bush administration is the bad guy?

Today's cartoon shows Donald Rumsfeld, backed by generals, saying "we've learned that editorial cartoonists have sought significant quantities of ink from Africa". Another cartoon shows Mickey Mouse being held hostage (by Islamic radicals?).

Gee, Mike, what a way to wuss out on the topic!

Instead of standing up for freedom of speech you enable fascism! What will you blame on Republicans next, the fact that Islamic fascists are denying the Holocaust? That they want a Holocaust II to take place in Israel?

Here's some advice, Mike: grow a set and lampoon radical Islam. That would be something actually worthy of a Pulitzer Prize.

mike peters, fascist islam, free speech
