Who's afraid of Richard Wolffe?

Well, no one. At least no one should be. He's an alleged commentator at the alleged news network MSNBC.

The reason no one should fear Mr. Wolffe or what he has to say is because he demonstrated a remarkable lack of knowledge about literature while attempting to criticize someone else for their literary citations. Mr. Wolffe seemed to be incredulous that anyone would cite C. S. Lewis as a source of divine inspiration. It may be that Mr. Wolffe is completely unaware of C. S. Lewis's writings beyond the Chronicles of Narnia (even though those are allegory for the Christian faith) but it is more likely that his knee was simply jerking because it was Sarah Palin who cited Lewis as an inspiration.

I invite Mr. Wolffe to "do some reading" and find out that C. S. Lewis was one of the most influential Christian writers of his time and still is a major influence in Christian writing.

Stating that Lewis "wrote some childrens books" is like saying that Tolkien "wrote a story about elves".
