Why do Democrats hate law-abiding citizens?
Seriously, they are subsidizing financial institutions that break law as commit frauds; supporting illegal aliens; squeezing money out of legitimate businesses so they can control compensation funds; attacking the people who pay the taxes so they can pander to people who don't; etc.
Do they really think they can win in November by riding a wave of enthusiasm for reckless/lawless society?
Then again, we are talking about socialists, here. That is one of their favorite methods for obtaining control over the population. Put the lawless in charge of the law-abiding.
Examples include their propaganda arms in action: "news" organizations referring to the Arizona anti-illegal immigration law as "anti-immigration" and Democrats simply pushing legislation (including the budget) past the November elections hoping that people won't notice the sword hanging over their heads.
I don't think Hugh is correct about Obama being in "over his head" on this one. He's simply following this Chicago upbringing and not caring what the "little people" think about his policies. He has ways of dealing with people who complain, after all.
