The Bush era Department of Justice stonewalled the Civil Rights Commission looking into a confirmed report that radical white groups stationed armed people outside polling locations.
The Justice Department refused to prosecute the group and withdrew all charges just as the judge in the case was about to issue punishments for the three men involved in the case.
Furthermore the Justice Department ordered US attorneys to not speak to anyone from the Civil Rights Commission and stated that the Civil Rights Commission had no authority whatsoever and for all department employees to ignore requests for information, subpoenas, etc. from the commission.
Wow, quite a story, isn't it? Every item is true except that
it's the Obama Justice Department doing this. (Oh and the group is a radical group of blacks, not whites.)
