introductions were never my specialty.
well, my name is Michelle, and I'm 18. I like pink and all things girly,
but also killing zombies and arguing about literature and feminisim.
Hobbies of mine include:
cooking and baking: I absolutely adore making people happy, and making good and personalized food for them is one of the ways I accomplish this. I prefer sweet things to savory things, but I'm trying to cook "real" food more often. currently, I am considering a culinary arts degree. I love talking to people about food and swapping recipes, and eating at great restaurant is one of my favorite things.
Japanese language and culture: from a young age, I was attracted to Japan and its culture, including fashion (sweet or hime lolita is my favorite), music (I love the sugary-sweet pop songs), bento boxes (which I try to pack lunch, though it no longer works with my schedule), anime/manga (again, frivolous is best), and some older aspects (like the architecture and traditions). I've studied the language for about two years, taking 5 courses, and I was president of my high school's Japanese Club. I have also been to Japan and intend to spend a semester there studying abroad. I took the AP Japanese test, too, so I can help out with that! I'm currently taking a college course that is not challenging, haha.
paper goods: I'm a compulsive list-writer, I LOVE planners, diaries and stickers. I love sending and receiving letters, so if you want to be my pen pal, let me know!
video games: honestly I'm not very good, but I love Valve games - Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Starcraft II and Pokemon are my favorites right now. My steam username is raw_sugar if you want to add me :)
