The other day I went to the supermarket and bought a toothbrush and a packet of cheap doughnuts. As I was leaving it occurred to me that such a combination was actually quite ludicrous. I felt like I may as well have bought nothing at all ( Read more... )

Yay! Leo Stories! I love these! They make me clap my hands with glee.

I think it makes sense to buy a toothbrush with donuts. It's thoughtful planning. Preventative. You buy the toothbrush so you can brush your teeth after eating the donuts.

I had that thought too. But then, I think that eating doughnuts and then brushing your teeth six hours later would be worse than not eating doughnuts or brushing your teeth for one night.

If you'd bought toothpaste as well you could have brushed your teeth straight afterwards, and then all would be well!

But then I'd need to have bought water, too, and a sink, and a little cup to rinse my mouth out with.

If you're really dedicated to having clean teeth you don't need any of those things. You just brush!
