i had the day off today and apparently the rule is that i have to update this, on pain of death and

so lets see. I finished up the semester doing really well on my elec2 final, assuring i will graduate on time. Conversely i did really shitty on my unix final, assuring that i have to take an 8 am class this semester to help my gpa :(
immediately left town to the keys for a few days. Was VERY relaxing, just mellowing out by the ocean with roomates and some randoms. Hottub, too much drinking, etc. Got in a wreck on the way home, some idiot tried to pass us on the left as we turned left from a highway. Not sure how WE got ticketed. hooray florida :(
as soon as we got back from the keys, me and nigel and lucas took off for north carolina. About midway through south carolina we got clocked going 115 or so and the cop wasnt too impressed with lucas' evasion techniques, so he got carted off in cuffs to some podunk jail that was COVERED in razor wire. Me and Nigel got lost, found a bar with decent beer and alligator bites, and eventually picked up a disheveled lucas from the jail 5 hours later. The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful. A lot of drinking and a bit of snowboarding. Eventually travelled to washington
spahr picked me up and boy hes a bitter kid lol. Kinda sad, he lost his gf, his job, and his doggie in like a month. I miss the old spahr who was so genuine and for lack of a better word "cute". Spent the majority of my time hanging out with the usual suspects, the jz/coach/spahr/ben/mj group. Lotta oblarneys. A few dinners with people who got ahold of me while i was in town which was nice. I really appreciate those who take the time to hang out with me while im in town, even if its only for a few hours. Id like to think id make the time for others. So thanks (you know who you are!) Drank a lot while i was in town but didnt do much else. Had a forgettable for the most part sorta trip. Was nice to stay with mikey, he seems to be doing well for himself.
since being back not much has happened. My car died. I Think its the end of the rodeo :( I wanted to get through school and seems im gonna end up a few months short. For the first time in 10+ years i dont have a consistent vehicle. weird, and a bit sad
poker has been good, up close to 4 grand this year already. starting to get deep in mtts and what not, but huge holes in late tourney play it seems. If i was more consistent late id have a few more big scores to my name. Thats just experience i think, ill get there
eleven got me a sweet bed tray so i can sit on my laptop and not burn my legs. kick ass.
im getting repeatedly annoyed at my net connection. i cant seem to keep a wireless connection and im about to just wire through the house somehow cause it drives me nuts.
man. this post sorta petered out. but at least i started writing again, and i should keep it up once i have started.
