Went to test drive a '04 GTI 1.8T yesterday at Curran Volkswagen. The car is a beauty and it feels so nice. Quoted me some financing options and if I qualify I could take the car home for 200/month for like..forever. It's funny though like after I started showing a real interest in the car the guy was like automatic in the zone sell me the car. The whole shpeel (I don't know how to spell that word). He's supposed to call me today and tell me whats what if I qualify or not. I basically went down there just to drive the car, but I applied for financing just to see if I'd get it. If indeed I do qualify then I'll have some serious thinking to do. Whole thing makes me jumpy though. Thats the car he wants to sell and thats the only car I saw. That's what I don't like about the deal. Fact is he needs to get rid of the 04's so he barely mentioned the 05's other than how its the same as the 04. Except I wouldn't have the option of getting 0%APR on it. Car is still amazing though. Delusions of grandeur.
