Wow, where do I start
I’ve been reading through everyone’s journals and catching up.
Life is amazing, not at times, all the time.
My Grandfather is selling his business in Palm Springs and the money is going to trickle down to my Dad, Uncle and Aunt in two years. My dad calls me up and says to me, “Micah, could you live in Kauai and work part-time for the rest of your life?”
I had to think about that for a little bit and I asked myself…what is retirement to me? Having a roof over my head and working part time in a stress free brainless job. Surfing when the waves were good and not worrying about a damn thing.
If I decide to be a bachelor for the rest of my life, I could live in Kauai and work part time the rest of my life. Why not?
If I want a family, I cannot do that now. I have to plan for my future and have stability to raise kids and then live somewhere tropical and have a part time job.
I told him all of this and he tells me that he’s buying a huge parcel of land in Kauai and I can build a house on it and only have to work part time because of the money from my grandfathers business.
I don’t know what to do. I have two years to think about it though.
I also have a supreme idea that is going to take a lot of hard work and I have to believe in it. It’s a project that I hope to work on while I’m on my travels and finish in the five years upon my return
