Jen pulled herself away from the window with an annoyed huff. She could see the wedding ceremony and reception from her window. She hadn't gone to the window looking to see that but she had anyway.
She flopped on the bed and stared at the ceiling, annoyed with herself. This is pathetic. There was no excuse for it, it just was. She hated herself for actually watching some of the wedding. I need to find something better to do.
But she wasn't going downstairs in the sweats and t-shirt she slept in. She got up from the bed and took a look in the closet, a little surprised by what the bar had chosen for her today.
There, hanging in the closet, was a dress. Which was odd enough. Jen didn't have anything against dresses but they weren't practical and she didn't wear them often.
It was red. Some light material she didn't recognize, with a v-neck and a flared skirt that would stop just at her knees.
Jen sighed, leaning her head against the open door as she did so. It was, really nice but did she feel like getting dressed up?
No, it's a better idea to mope around your room and maybe torture yourself by watching the wedding some more.
One more look at the dress before she closed the closet door and headed towards the bathroom. First, a shower and then to get dressed.
Maybe she'd run into Paul.
