Busy, busy, busy.

Today:
  • Had to manually run some things for work because there was an electricity cutoff last night.
  • Took SCSI to the vet. When tiripou was here, we noticed that she was slightly limping. I waited to see if it'll just pass. It didn't. In addition, she gave herself a total shave of the tummy. So to the vet we went. She said the tummy is probably due to plugged anal sacks. Don't ask. Poor kitty, relieving her was not pleasant. For the limp, she gave me a pain killer on a wait-and-see basis.
  • Went to the hairdresser to have my hair cut.
  • Came back. Had lunch. Got notified that the new glasses I ordered are ready.
  • Took an online conversation lesson in the afternoon.
  • Ordered groceries over the net.
  • Rode to the mall were I work to get the glasses. It's my free day, but alas, it couldn't wait - I had a game to watch.
  • Picked up some sunflower seeds (the most popular Israeli sports snack) and cash on the way home.
  • Practiced my vocabulary and kanji until it was time to go.
  • Went to see the first home game of the season. We won. (That is, Maccabi Tel-Aviv beat Zalgiris Kaunas. We're talking Euroleague basketball here).
  • I hope to get some more vocabulary practice before I hit the sack.

Tomorrow:
  • Online lesson at 08:00
  • Wait for groceries.
  • Ride to non-kosher supermarket. See how shopping can be done with the limited space I have in new scooter.
  • Light lunch.
  • Meet with Japanese-learning gang. We're going to visit my friend the calligrapher - not my former teacher - another forum denizen. He's going to demonstrate his calligraphy to us. Two Japanese natives are invited.
  • Following that, we all go to the sushi restaurant we went to last time. The guy's studio is conveniently placed on the other side of Dizengoff Center, so the sushi is within walking distance.
  • More practicing in between.
