Reading German Philosophy

Jun 13, 2006 17:48

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which German philosophers are easiest to read in German? I'm doing a German reading program this summer, so it would be nice to start reading German texts.

I have a handful of Heidegger, Husserl and Hegel--what I'm actually interested in reading--but something tells me that isn't the place to start. Dorion Cairns' Guide to Translating Husserl is quite rockin' though--almost worth $110.

Thanks in advance.
