The Bruce Springsteen concert was amazing.  I have never seen so many middle-aged people collectively freak out.  The E Street Band was in great form, and it was a little weird seeing Stevie Van Zandt playing guitar because I am used to seeing him play Silvio on The Sopranos.  It was also cool seeing Clarence and Max Weinberg, not to mention Springsteen himself.  They opened with Night, which was pretty insane.  They played a lot of songs that I didn't know, but they were still really good.  Highlights were Dancing in the Dark, Badlands, and, of course, Born To Run.  It was Jillian's third time seeing him and she said that he played for a shorter time but the songs had more energy.  Seeing Bruce Springsteen play Born To Run with the E-Street Band would have been worth the 110 dollars in and of itself.

In Rainbows.  A lot of people have already said a lot of things about the new Radiohead album, so I don't know how much I really feel like writing about.  You can probably just skip this section if you don't want to hear me bloviate about Radiohead.  It is definitely worth every second of the 4 plus year wait since Hail to the Thief came out.  In Rainbows is a more cohesive album than Hail to the Thief.  The track listing flows a lot better, and the production sounds better.  I do not personally care that they put the In Rainbows download out in 160 kbps; it is better than what you would download from iTunes.  Nude may be my favorite track on the album.  It's cool seeing how the song has progressed from the initial organ-heavy live versions to the studio version of it.  I am not disappointed, as many fans are, by how Videotape turned out.  I was initially put off by the fucking weird percussion at the end, but on repeated listen it is a challenging track, moreso than the live version, and it is a perfect closer for the album.

My reselling of Microsoft Office on ebay worked to the tune of 85 dollars in profit.  Now, in strict accordance with the principle of "go big or go home", I just laid out 500 dollars on the academic edition of Adobe CS3 Master Suite (link) through the University of Pittsburgh journey ed site.  I plan on selling it on ebay for around 1100 - 1500 dollars.  Not a bad way to make a quick few hundred dollars.  Thanks again to Adam for the idea.  If you decide to steal this idea from me, all I ask for is ten percent of the profit (I will give 5 percent to Adam and keep 5).

I'm still having a lot of problems with my roommate.  I finally told his girlfriend that she couldn't live in my room anymore a week or two ago, and she hadn't been back since.  Until I woke up this morning and she was in the room on his computer.  Fred also has been snoring violently recently, and it is literally keeping me up at night.  I am seriously considering cancelling my housing contract and subletting an apartment for second semester; I really don't know how much longer I can stand to live in the dorms.

Time to brush my teeth before geology class, during which there is a 97 percent chance I will fall asleep.
