Now...if only I could get cable that way...oh well. So, yea. My sleeping has been really weird and I was trying to regulate it, but then Kelli wanted to stay up all night for the first time in her entire life...so yea no sleep on Saturday. So, instead, I slept all day sunday. So now Im up, and strangely rested.
Its kinda scary here. I guess because its new and different. Weird noises to get used to. Plus, no one else is here. Like in the entire complex. Which is cool when you have friends over and can be as loud as you want...but when you wake up in the middle of the night from a horrible dream of your house buring down...Its freaky. Im really not liking my sheets. They are not very comfy. And its not as cool in here as I would like. Sue, the person who does all the grunt work around here, who I like to call the games keeper...is about as smart a log. Any time I have a question or commet she says "Well, Ive been working here 22 years and no ones ever mentioned that before" Like that matters, Im mentioning it now. Oh, and did I mention that there is nothing to circulate the oven when its on...And the fact that I dont have control of my air conditioning? Yea, fun stuff. I have a van full of stuff I need to unpack. I cant really do it myself and dont really know who to ask. I think I will see if I can exchange these sheets...they are yukky. Thats a really big thing for me. Once my bed is comortable, I can start getting used to a place. 300 thread count my aunt fanny... So, I had a revelation the other day that I can bring my bike from home and use if here, therein adding an extra couple of miles to my work radius. I appiled at Steak n Shake. It seems really promising. They had a sign out front that says they are looking for servers and the manager on duty (which I found out wasnt the hiring one) said my experience seemed good. Also, the sever I talked to said they were having trouble finding people to work 3rd shift...and I said I could deffinately work then. Then I will have an excuse to stay up all night and sleep all day...In your face dad! w00t. I only applied Saturday, so I hope I hear something today. If not the server said to call tueday between 2 and 4. Oh, and I can wear my nose ring. I was worried after a rude comment from the manager at Bakleys that maybe I wasnt getting a job because of that. But the sever there had a huge chin pircing. So, woo for indiviuality.
But, yes. Anyone who wants to come see the place should give me a call...cause its kinda lonely here. Especially anyone who wants to help me unpack in exchange for me being your best friend for life and maybe some free food.
