Hey!
I've just got an ipod nano, and just more recently discovered podcasts! I was so excited that there were harry potter ones! I'm kinda confused of what a podcast is actually. If anyone knows would they tell me?

Think of them as independent radio talk shows. They are indeed just any jerk talkin' and yammering on about any thing their heart desires! I'm one of those jerks!

It's pretty good. I've been getting into mugglecast, I think I like them the most. Did you know The person who founded mugglenet was 12 when he founded it? That was wierd to me because mugglenet is so big now. But yea, anyone the mugglecast ones are really good, I've spend my whole day listening to them.

Wow! 12! He got to interview JK didn't he? I wish I had an ipod. Or at least some alone time so I can sit at the PC or at least turn it up loud to listen to the mugglecast while workin' on stuff.

Yeh, it's really good. If you go to www.mugglenet.com/mugglecast you can found out how to listen to it. There are episodes like 51-64 you can listen to. And the rest I can't even download. But you can always read them because they have transcripts. I like your icon, when I saw that girl on mugglenet I had now idea who she was. Hehe, thanks to your icon I now know it's Luna Lovegood. *^_^*

So they take off the old episodes? That kinda stinks! Well I'm sure I can sit and read them.

Thanks! Those three are awesome, I like strong female characters. They seem so few and far between. And I think it's neat that one is a brunette, one is a blonde, and the other one is ginger! So it's like those which movies, the craft, witches of eastwick (whose music sounds very oddly familiar...way to go John Williams), hocus pocus, et c.

Yeah, I've been on top of the "who's playing who," especially Luna, and Prof. Umbridge. Those, so far, are the last cool people that I was excited to find out about. I mean who can they possibly surprise us with with Horace Slughorn?! And who knows what new characters they will introduce with the 7th book. And we already know whose gonna play the DADA prof. in half-blood prince. ;)

Oh, and also, this is a really good discussion I picked up from mugglecast. Do you think that Luna Lovegoods grandfather could be Mr. Ollivander. Because they are both described as having pale blue eyes, and since it was said that Luna's mother was killed while out finding something. It could be that she was out finding a pheonix feather or unicorn tail hair for her father's wands. It's curious isn't it?

It is curious. I like that! I love Mr. Ollivander, I think it's mainly because John Hurt plays him in the movie. And it would be really cool if that factored in some where in the last book. Speaking and thinking about, "unicorn tail hair" they say that it's usually unlucky, and poor Ron's new wand is a unicorn tail hair wand. Most of the time they die. Could Ron be slated next in line?

One thing I hope they do for the next movie, but know they won't, is bringing all the surviving DADA profs. It would be so cool for Kenneth Branagh and Gary Oldman to be in a movie together...considering one is Dr. Frankenstein and the other is Dracula! And Kenneth Branagh being in a movie with his ex-wife Emma Thompson. But I always that was cool in the book that they are all in there, sans Professor Quirrell!

Hmmm...I've never heard that unicorn hair was very unlucky. Who knows is going to die next. Recently in an interview Jo said that she spared one person and killed off two she didn't originally think she was going to kill off. I fear that she is going to kill of harry. NOOOO! Because she doesn't want anyone to write extensions to her books after she's dead and gone.

I respect that, I'd prolly get rid of my character too if I were in that situation. Although it does make it seem like we've wasted our entire time.

You know I remember reading the unicorn hair thing some where, if I run past it again I send it your way!

I'd like to see M. Night Shaymalan take on the world of Harry Potter.

I'd also like to see Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who was also offered to direct a HP movie...he said no...prolly very similarly to the way I'd expect Stanley Kubrick would have declined.

Well, I can't say much about the other cast, but Dan Radcliffe's daddy produced the first movie so I think he would've stayed. ;)
