Well, what do you know?
I log into LiveJournal to change some things in my userinfo when what do I see on the main page, but that LiveJournal has given free account holders three more icon uploads as a Christmas gift! Well, if that don't beat all.
So, yeah. I don't even need to say that I uploaded a few more. Only one of them is not of my own making, and is credited on my user icon page. Sweetness.
Today was a mess at work. We were so understaffed. Well, we have been a lot lately. But today was just crazy. Rushing around, huge lines, angry customers... Not to mention some lady who spent $877 on books, dvds and other crap. She just scanned the dvd racks, hardly even looking at the things she chose. "Oh, I'll take this and this and this..." It was unbelievable. From the way she shopped, you'd think she didn't have to pay for any of it. I didn't ring her up, but I got caught by her on the bookfloor and had to help her find half of her stuff. Crazy.
But I'm off tomorrow. And I get three days off next week (not by my own choice; but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth). So I'm pretty happy tonight. Oh, and I got all of Heavenly's Christmas shopping done after my shift. Except for one more thing I have to go out and buy somewhere else. We're going up to Greenville on Christmas Eve, staying the night, and then driving back to Charleston Christmas morning. Should be a fun trip; I don't think we'll have much traffic on either day.
My mom and Daniel (my brother) are coming down to visit us some time after Christmas. Don't know exactly when...which it would help if I did, but... It should be cool to have them down. They've only been here once, and then they were staying at a hotel in Mt. Pleasant with my grandparents, and only for a night and a day. Hopefully they'll have more fun this time. Daniel is coming home from Japan where he's stationed as a Marine. I hope he brings me lots of cool stuff. Hopefully something on youkai, though I'll not hold my breath on that.
Well, off for now. I've got better things to do than vedge at the computer.
