Well, I've just checked Overstock.com, the website I ordered my copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from, and apparently my order is "Accepted" but still "In Proccess". That means they haven't shipped it yet. Damn. Almost wish I'd ordered it from Amazon, who guarentees delivery by tomorrow or a refund of the entire book. But, I did get the cheapest price out there for the version I got (Deluxe Version).
I'm closing to-night, at work. So I get off at 1am. Hopefully Barnes & Noble will still be open by that time, so I can at least see the book, and maybe flip through a bit. Rrrr. Waiting is hard when it's so close.
Am looking at
Narniaweb.com, browsing their news headlines. It's fun; brings back memories to when I browsed TheOneRing.net looking for news updates for the Lord of the Rings movies, before they started coming out. At this point, we don't know hardly anything about the Narnia movies, and I can remember that point on the LoTR saga as well.
I am especially interested in
this review of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe video game. The gameplay sounds pretty fun. Lucy sounds like a really fun character to play, with the most interesting abilities. This and the Goblet of Fire movie game, I am looking forward to both of them. This Christmas will be a good one for movies!!
And apparently Liam Neeson is doing the voice of Aslan. Good choice, I guess, but I heard Brian Cox as a rumour, and I think he would have been better. But I'll reserve judgement for after I've seen the film.
