/ always had the feeling that i was walking down an infinite hall alone /
/ the doctors have prepared me for surgery /
/ everyone waves bye / no one can come with /
/ all the important steps / i walk alone /
/ all the company i have / cannot hold on / will not hold on /
/ like a patient walking to the operating room /
/ i stand bereft of attachment /
/ the hall peers out before me /
/ endlessly /
/ like a grey dawn /
/ like coming to end the world /
/ like coming to the edge of space and time /

/ on a crystaline synagoge of nothing /
/ i peer out towards everything to come /

/ bereft /

/ i walk alone /
