Lost
Two thoughts:
1. JJ became this show's absentee father. All these daddy issues & the father of Lost completely abandoned it for movie opportunities in it's last moments. I'm not saying I wasn't happy with the finale, but a lot of what made Lost-Lost was JJ's input. & the finale didn't seem to have even a smidgeon of him. That was disappointing.
2.WE NEVER GOT CANCELLED. Buffy fans. Firefly fans. Dollhouse fans. Pushing Daisies. Hell, even BSG felt like it got cut short and we missed out! Okay I didn't mean to mention mostly Joss stuff. But point being it feels like every show I've ever loved has gotten canned almost immediately.
And for a while there Lost was very touch and go! I mean without our loyalty and online love & everything who knows!! A lot of people started to fall off with watching, the 'average' viewer, because it got too complicated. If it were Fox we wouldn't of made it past season three! But ABC stuck with us & we got the full run of the show. They always told us six seasons and a seventh wouldn't of given us anything we didn't get after last night.
So. How frickin cool is it, right? :)
