i think this illustration accurately summarises the last three saturday nights (busy p/justice/kim, bang gang/snax, ariel & tess' going away aka remember amplifier?)

ps. how wicked is "hearts on fire". it's got it all: the cut copy vibe, the italo-disco element, the early 90's dance pop / new beat element, the epic raphael ravenscar-esque saxophone bit, it's all happening. when i first heard that the new album is going to produced by the DFA i was quite deflated. but then I learnt it's Tim Goldsworthy and not James Murphy so that cheered me up a little bit. then I heard this track and immediately felt much better. then i bought the t-shirt. imagine
how great everything's going to be when a) the album drops, and b) the single with remixes from joakim and (allegedly) midnight juggernauts drops.
