International Texts, Monk, and other good things :)
I love it when I get texts from my sibs from abroad; whatever the message is, it never fails to make me smile (unless of course, it says something like Mom is dead or something... *knock on wood*). I can always tell whether it's my mom, Lex or Bea texting me. They text a certain way. My mom would say something like "PLS CHEK MAIL LOV U MOM" in all caps. Bianca's is usually something kulit like helping her with her homework (hehe such a cutiepie) and Lex usually just forwards something my mom told her to tell us (like check my mail for the billionth time again).
Today my good friend Dyan gave me an unexpected Xmas gift. Usually I only get gifts from my uber-close friends and family so I was really surprised. It was so sweet coz she gave me burned DVDs of the Monk series. Lovely, just lovely. In her note, she says she "never would have survived Philo" without me. I was seriously touched. It was definitely one of the best gifts I received this year because she remembered how I wanted to get the Monk DVDs and "braved the Muslims" (hehe, no discrimination intended) to find it. Aww.
I watched the most bizarre movie ever for Reflexivity. Sir Andrew said it was probably tantamount to shoving all of us off the deep end of the pool. Damn right. I was so confused and I just wanted the damn movie to end!!!!!!!! ARGHH! I can still feel the frustration building up inside me. It was so..chaotic. Took everything I had not to walk out of the classroom hahaha. The good thing was that it ended at least.
I was also able to catch 2 new episodes of Spongebob! Yay! hopefully it's the end of the re-runs.
My older sister is also going to be on a TV show. bwahahaha. Celebrity Single, here we come!!!
And of course, today is Friday. and Fridays are always good :) (even if Miggy's at his immersion and we had to forego our usual Friday night date).
