Let's see, I had my surgery on Thursday morning as scheduled. I showed up at the orthopedic surgery place at 6 am, they had me out cold by 7 am and by 9 am they were waking me up to get me ready to go home. I was back in my own bed by 11 am. Here's the short version I posted to gay_boy last week.

Putting up my dancing shoes

On Friday, while I was driving back from class on my scooter, I reached an intersection just as the light was turning yellow. A driver coming in the opposite direction made an accelerated left turn to beat the light. I collided with the front right corner of her car and was thrown from my scooter, over her car, and landed in the street on the other side.

To make a long story a bit shorter, my right wrist is broken in three places and will require a metal positioning plate and a few pins, my right ankle is fractured and will require a pin. Both surgeries will take place on Thursday. My right ribs, right leg, and left foot are also pretty banged up. I can't really sit up, or stand without help. The pain is lessening some now as long as I have my Percoset. I will most likely have to drop out of school for the summer.

I will try to keep up with my journal. I have to type one handed (and not in the good kind way). At least I have a wireless laptop that I can use from my bed. For a more detailed version of all of this, check out my live journal directly.
