Oh, thank god. I've finally managed to pull my Potions mark up to an 'Acceptable'. I'm almost enjoying the class now, which was unexpected. Failing really does put a downer on things.

It's so different from Rush Valley, though. There were only two marks there - 'can function as a human limb' (or whatever animal you were crafting it for) and 'scrap

I didn't ask you for help because I didn't think you'd give me any? It was hard enough getting your notes off you, remember?

...it's fine, Ed. You would have gotten frustrted with me anyway, you know that. My friend Sasuke has been helping me out, and like I said, I've managed to to pull my mark up to an 'A'.

It's only Potions, anyway. If I'd been failing Transfiguration, then there would have been cause for worry.

No problem I guess, I just didn't think you'd ask Sasuke of all people.

I have no idea. But I'm passing now where I wasn't before. It'd be a little sad if a Sixth Year couldn't help out with Third Year Potions.

Oh, I didn't ask. We ran into each other in the library, and he offered.

What, are you blind? I never said that!

You implied I couldn't help you! I could help you if I damn well wanted to!

I don't want your help! You'd get annoyed with me the moment I didn't understand something!

It was just coincidence, though. We'd talked before, his cat likes me, he asked me what I was doing and then I got him all confused because of my screwed up class schedule. A whole lot of people offered to help (you know. Except for you), he just happened to be there when I seriously needed it.

MAYBE that's why I didn't ASK you. Because you weren't there! I wasn't about to wait around for you to show up when I had someone perfectly willing to help out. Especially considering how UNLIKELY it would be that you'd come and offer help ANYWAY.
