1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Went to Germany! And the Czech Republic.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Definitely did not keep my resolution. Only lasted a month. My only resolution for 2010 is to get my degree.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin Nathan had a baby. I'm not really close with him or his wife, though.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Michael Jackson

5. What countries did you visit?
Germany, Czech Republic

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A Master's Degree! And a job.

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 22nd. Got the balls to tell Aaron J. to tell Steve that I thought he was cute when he just happened to be at the bar we went to. Then, spent 10 hours at his apartment just talking. First date, although it wasn't really an official one.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Lost 8 pounds in 4 weeks right before Christmas!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not having a single successful audition

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got sick a lot. No major injuries that I can think of...just the same wrist problems as before.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
The nutcracker for my mom...bought it in Dresden

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Sara! She stepped up to the plate, gained confidence talking to men, and now she's a hot commodity!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mine...too much boy drama

14. Where did most of your money go?
Europe

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to Europe!

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
I'm on a Boat

Happier

Same probably. Maybe a little thinner

Richer, but only because I took out a last-minute loan

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Taking auditions

Spending money

20. How did you spend Christmas?
In Santa Ana...first time coming home and not going home. This is my new home now, though.

22. Did you fall in love in 2009?
Yes. :)

23. How many one-night stands?
Only one. The others were people I went on several dates with.

So You Think You Can Dance

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes

26. What was the best book you read this year?
Sadly, all the reading I did this year was for school.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Animal Collective

28. What did you want and get?
A spice rack! A TETRIS spice rack! Thanks, Nic and N8!

29. What did you want and not get?
I'm STILL waiting on that diploma frame. Also, Wii Fit and Up on DVD

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Three-way tie. Up, I Love You Man, The Hangover

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
A delicious (and expensive) dinner at Jim Gould, courtesy of Steve. Then, Korean-style Karaoke! 23 has been good to me so far.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having ONE good audition.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
More hip. More hipSTER. But in general, more the type of thing that other 23 year-olds wear.

34. What kept you sane?
Nick Wolny, Erin Lovan, and Steve.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Ed Helms, haha

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
All of them.

37. Who did you miss?
Erin and Nick! I haven't seen either of them in forever.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
DEFINITELY Steve.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
Don't waste your energy trying to make everyone else happy...or trying to change them...especially people who just can't seem to understand anything. Work on yourself first. And be honest with everyone.
