~A brief hello to those who have suddenly added me to their friends' list. I don't know how that apparently happened.
~I didn't mention before on how I did on my SAT II's. I apparently got a 580 in the Writing (which is better then I thought I'd do...I'm bad in English, even though I got a B in Honors Brit Lit this year...not counting the honors credit which boosts me up to a B+) and a 630 on the Math IIC (I got a 620 last year, and I did 10 points better when I had absolutely no preparation or practice). My mother still finds it amusing that I got the highest score in Molecular Biology (a 680...that's still a shock). Anyways, I've been studying for my SATs, going over a Kaplan book I have and reviewing vocab words and learning techniques. I didn't do so well when I took them in May, so I have one last chance at this.
~This is one of my favorite images. The video for "The Sun Always Shines on TV" is also a favorite of mine...it made mannequins more interesting (especially the large abundance of them in the church). Speaking of music, Gina, the nurse who was singing "Don't Stand So Close to Me" at the hospital last week, and I were talking about concerts. And now I have a new person to talk to about music...especially since she knows quite a bit. By the way...the 1986 (?) version of "Don't Stand So Close to Me" has a sexier chorus sound to it.
~Tomorrow I'm going to find out what day my wisdom teeth get pulled out. The last time I had surgery for my teeth...I was in fifth grade, when two molars (both baby and permanent) were pulled out from the bottom of my mouth due to the lack of room. I remember showing off the black threads used to stitch the gums together and grossing everyone out. Ah..the good old days. My elementary school years still sucked, so yea.
~I feel like a mix of
Daria and her dry humor and
Jane and her artistic abilities. I have forgotten how much fun 'Daria' was to watch.
~Oh yes, and I lost my badge for the hospital. I must get a new one made. *blushes*
