Don Green was super fun. Long as all hell, but fun. I placed second in my heat off the 300m hurdles, fifth in my 110m hurdle heat, and I think like 6th or 7th in my 200m heat. But I PRed in the 200m with a 24.7. No where close to a winning time, but I was happy with myself for once. The whole meet was so far behind schedule. There were easily over 100 heats of the 100m. Katie and I had to measure the girls F/S long jump, which I swear never ended. But Mel and a few others went out and brought me back Jamba Juice, which went along great with my box of fruit snacks. Hell yes.
Sure, our hurdle fort may have looked a little wierd to those outside, but everyone envied us for our magnificent use of blankets and hurdles to get a little cooler on a sunny day.
I realize the picture is blurry, but how sweet is that moon rising?
