White nights
My niece arrived here on a student summer trip tonight and I went out to meet her at 1 am, which was well worth it since she brought with her the electric guitar which her sister is selling to my daughter, and chocolate, and a bottle of duty free gin. It's now 2:45 and I have to be up in 3¼ hours, and I don't feel remotely like sleeping. I think I'll go on reading The Book of Lights, which I started rereading today because I recently bought a book by the real-life character one of the book's characters is probably modelled on.
