Jennifer Cheat Sheet!
Okay, I absolutely heart cheat sheets SO THIS WILL NEVER BE FINISHED EVER but the stuff you're all probably looking for will be here, so. Meanwhile, I will continue to update this endlessly with pointless crap.
Age: 42 (not canon)
She's been married 20 years (I think she mentions it in episode 4 or so), and I believe she went to college in America...so, at least 40 years old. 38 at the youngest, but she's older than she looks through the magic of being an anime character. I'm going to say 42, because I like that number.
Height: 160 cm/5'3" (not canon)
Probably about average for a Japanese woman...so I'm saying 5'3".
Weight: 58 kg/127 lbs (not canon)
Again, probably around average, although I'm not sure of the average weight for a Japanese woman.
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown
Date and Place of Birth: 22 March, 1964 in Yokohama, Japan (probably canon - see "Nickname")
Blood Type: B+ (not canon)
Nickname: Jennifer of the Beach; back in her days as a student, Jennifer was called "Hama no Jennifer" (｢横浜（ハマ）のジェニファー｣), which seems to be a reference to possibly being from Yokohama, as the kanji used as the city's kanji. (Taken from the Japanese wiki)
I'm playing it as a pun as well: that her maiden name was "Hamano" and she hailed from Yokohama. It probably won't come up, really, and I doubt it'll ever be extrapolated on in the manga or novels.
I haven't the faintest idea where "Jennifer" came from, so I've just made up the background that she studied abroad in America and liked the name.
Medical Info: Nothing special - human and all that.
Physical traits: Also normal!
Known allergies: none
Past Medical History: has given birth twice; has had early miscarriages in the past (miscarriages not canon)
Random crap: Has a few scars from her days as a fencer and from the occasional mishap in the kitchen; a better fighter than she looks, according to the later episodes; had trouble concieving when she was younger. (All not canon, except for the "better fighter" part)
What's Okay To Mention Around Her: I can't really think of anything that wouldn't be okay to tell her, really. I mean, check with me on IRC or AIM or something if you think it'd be a problem, but. Really nothing I can think of!
Notes for the Psychics: The woman just DOES NOT SHUT UP. XD She is hyper and very high-pitched and probably talks somewhat faster than most people. I wouldn't be surprised if she were ADD - so that's probably what her thoughts would feel like.
Abilities: Nothing really godmody or anything. She's extremely courageous (although in her case, it's also a good bit of not measuring the situation the same as everyone else - "Pffft, shadow monster things - NOTHING CAN STOP JENNIFER OF THE BEACH 8D"). It's hard to get her down, if that's an ability.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Just check in with me - I'm pretty agreeable, although given that Jennifer is Yuuri's mom, anything that would harm her might bring about IC consequences, ie her pyromaniac son-in-law or THE HEALING LIGHT OF MULLETCOCK.
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Jennifer is one of those types who will hug you if overcome with too much emotion. Feel free to do the same to her; something platonic/friendly/familial will undoubtedly be okay, but if Jennifer sees it as untoward - like groping or uh. Platonic/friendly/familial from somewhat she doesn't feel has that right (I'M TRYING TO PUT JENNIFER INTO LOGICAL WORDING HERE), she will SELF-DEFEND herself against you. And...probably not hold it against you, still! Jennifer is awesome like that.
Fighting: Jennifer wants to be a shounen dumbass so much. She will cheer from the sidelines and have to be held back from fighting fights that will get her killed, so she'll probably try to jump in. Feel free to fight her, but be aware she can't be too seriously harmed, because IC consequences and also, I don't know if she knows how to give up. 8D
Maim/Murder/Death: I'm not always 100% "yes or no" on anything, but this one would have to be a 99% no. Feel free to ask me anyways; I MAY SAY YES. But uh it's very unlikely. But if I do say no, I won't do it rudely!
Baking: Probably! And since I, the mun, not only like baking but also work as a bakery (I am the Safeway bakery bitch harhar), I'm playing her as someone who bakes a little more than occasionally. Nothing exceptional; her trademark food is her "Jennifer-style Chunky Vegetable Curry", and it might even be a bit bad. Like...all the chips on chocolate chip cookies centered in one area.
