British Library and Dokusensha Review

The British Library (daiei-toshokan)

The British Library in England is driven to promote literacy and the glory of the British Empire. Being more than a library, the British Library is a powerful political organization with many branches around the world. Earlier in the novel's story, it was an old building within/next to the British Museum. Later in the R.O.D story timeline, the British Library's location changed (following the real life) move) within the British Museum.

Dokusensha

Dokusensha is a secret Chinese organization, similar to the British Library, with a few superpowered agents of its own as well. Dokusensha's leader is lead by a girl named China, who the agents also call Granny/Grandma. Dokusensha's base is located in Sichuan, China, but was invaded by a young form of Gentleman carrying out a genocidal attack on the base. Gentleman ordered Joker to shoot the base with the British Library's satellite laser beam and Joker took this opportunity into his own hands to kill Gentleman also.

Note: I've gathered this information from different resources and condensed them together. Some of the information here comes from the Read or Die novels that Kurata has written himself and only available exclusively in Japan and has not seen a U.S. release yet. And some information here also comes from the R.O.D the TV series.

Please notify me if you see any errors in this at all. ^_^;
