Yeah, I know, not my usual "MO". But here's my thought:
Rather than having a constitutional amendment on the ballot that would further restrict the rights of a minority group in Minnesota, what if we put this one on the ballot?
"In the event that the Minnesota Senate, House of Representatives, and Governor do not finalize any budget before the end of the regular session of the legislature in any year, all those currently in office will become ineligible for re-election at the end of their current term, and for future election to the same position."
Oh, and I have a question. Is a constitutional amendment the one that has to be carefully worded so that people who are registered to, but do not vote in, the election where the amendment is on the ballot, are automatically a no vote? Because then I'd need to word my amendment so the no votes made it pass.
