British comedy podcast recommendations please?

I'm spending a lot of time on buses lately because of my job, so I've got kind of bored of all the music on my ipod...So can anyone recommend me some good podcasts- old or new? Anything about British comedy, please! I'm betting at least some of you listen to comedy podcasts regularly so any suggestions would be appreciated

I don't know if you've encountered them already, but I'm really enjoying the two XFM podcasts that I follow - the Josh Widdicombe Show, and the Elis James and John Robins Show. They're both a lot of fun and I enjoy them a lot ♥. I think both shows have really been getting better of late, but it's worth starting from the beginning with both, I think. ...Though there are like 80 episodes of Josh Widdicombe now? But I still think it's worth it ♥.

Ughblegh, the Andrew Lawrence thing - I'm the same, there's always something about him I'd found creepy, previously like "haha man he's so creepy!" and now it's just like... wow, what a horrible person he is, damn. And the follow-up post to that one you linked, where he clarified some of his points - basically saying that the women they're getting on panel shows can't be called 'comedians' because they don't have enough experience and so are giving female comedians a bad rap, and that it's sad that inexperienced women are getting TV gigs that experienced male comedians could be getting, but aren't.

WOW ANDREW LAWRENCE WOW. WOW. Like, does he know any female comedians at all? You'd have thought he would, given his job, but maybe not. Does Andrew Lawrence know any women? I really wonder.

I do have a soft spot for Josh Widdicombe, so thanks for that recommendation, will definitely check that out (and especially if there's 80 episodes, that'll keep me going for a while!).

Ugh Andrew Lawrence. I'm the same as you, I always found him a bit weird and not funny, but now I just find him disgusting. Ava Vidal wrote a good article against his rant: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/womens-life/11196679/Ukip-As-a-black-female-comedian-I-do-loathe-the-party.-Promise....html. He's so offensive, but at least I'm guessing we don't have to see him much on TV any more. :P
