'Comedy Week'? Well, it's not really all that different from any other week, but you go ahead, Channel 4, call it what you like. :P
Admittedly, I am quite enjoying that Bill Bailey programme - mainly because it's quite informal and I get the sense that he's good friends with all the guests. Alan Davies was very good - like him a lot anyway, remember that programme he did last year about his teenage years? That was really brilliant - except for the bit where he admired Noel Fielding (dear God, how did that man ever get to be a comedian?). Bill's reaction was priceless though. Lee Mack - thoroughly likeable and amusing. Jo Brand ('Doesn't care') is absolutely brilliant - smart and funny. Looking forward to - who is it tonight? Sean Lock? Or is it Jessica Hynes? Either way, nice line up.
(Even more looking forward to Buzzcocks tonight! Yay! This journal is going to be so full of squee tomorrow...)
Oh, and on a last note, I'm using my new David O'Doherty icon, thanks to
miss_jaffacake . Love him loads.
