Frankie Boyle to record Channel 4 chat show
I'm going to say a tentative 'yay'. I always loved Frankie on 'Mock The Week', but kind of grew to hate him a bit during/after 'Tramadol Nights', not just because it was so offensive (although it was), but because it was just a load of rubbish and not at all amusing. I quite like the idea of him having a chat show, though - hopefully he'll be irreverently insulting rather than needlessly cruel, and I think he'll do better having people to bounce off rather than just himself. Still. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm not banking on it being much good, to be honest.
- Only one episode of 'The Hour' left. That's sad. I think it might be one of the best things I have watched on TV, ever. It's just been brilliant, and I am actually going to rush out and buy the DVD. Plus I can totally see the attraction to Ben Whishaw. He's rather perfect. And I would quite like to be Romola Garai.
- One last thing - Doctor Who is back next Saturday! Can't wait. I did really enjoy most of the first half of the series. The only problem is that I have such a rubbish memory, I've forgotten everything that happened in the first few episodes. Good thinking there, BBC.
