Reread this in full over the past couple days, and I just... love the hell out of this story. It's such a perfect mix of hot, sweet... the best that Walt can be, WHY ISN'T HE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME?! I like a lot of things about this story, but best of all is how relaxing it feels. You've found a point in time where our guys can plausibly have lots time with each other, resulting in positively decadent things like going to sleep together. Waking up. Taking multiple hours out of the day to just watch animal shows, talk trash, eat takeout, and actually take time to make decisions for once. This is such a teddybear of a fic. I want to hold it the way they hold each other.

The way you wrote the intercourse was, in my experience, pretty novel. The fact that Jesse was sore afterwards but was still happy to have gone through it was great, not only because it seemed realistic, but because Walt was able to unf-ily take care of him _once again_ (unf), _and_ because it paralleled his feelings towards what happened with Gale. Great literary trick there, and super hot as well.

I love a good bit of this, but especially the part of the bathtub scene where Jesse talks about being connected. He is smart, more than Walt gives him credit for. So it was nice that Walt actually managed to overcome his general assholeishness and give Jesse proper credit.

Thanks so much. One thing that made me pursue this idea in the first place was the thought of Jesse's relative emotional intelligence as the driving force of the relationship, so I'm glad you singled out that moment.

The way you write Walt and Jesse is perfect. Just perfect. I've read all of your fics. I'd die if you wrote more! I am so sad that this fandom is so small and there are hardly any fics to choose from, let alone good ones. But yours are amazing <3
