"Skin Deep" by Rivkat

28.000 words. Clark visits the caves and Brainiac decides in a profoundly mysoginistic move, that since he's not conquering Earth he does not deserve to be a man so he turns him female. Of course, right after having this monumental row with the cave computer, Clark stomps off to Lex's and they decide to go out to Metropolis. So when he wakes up as a woman it is also naked and in Lex's bed. Naturally, Clark freaks but, eventually, sees no way out and starts planning his life as Kalli. Now that he's had Lex as a lover, he has a had time thinking of giving him up, he knows he has to but he keeps postponing it like the teenager in love he is.
It's interesting to see how his interactions with other characters are altered, as well, his mom is super happy to make him a skimpy SuperGirl outfit, his dad is outraged at the skimpiness. Lana and Chloe want to gossip and take him clothes shopping.
And the more Kalli falls for Lex and Lex for "her" the more you tremble for Clark, who is obviously not going to get to keep it all. Awesome fic, although I admit I adore the "true-love-beyond-gender" plot to the point where i started writing crossdressing stories at about 12 years of age.

The words 'Lana' and 'salacious' had never before been associated in his mind, but it looked like there was a first time for everything. "Like there were only three points of interest under my clothes."
Chloe gave a choked giggle. "Clark and subtle aren't exactly in the same time zone."
Hey! Lana could have given him some indication, he thought resentfully, instead of bad-mouthing him to her friends later on. If she wouldn't help, what business did she have complaining?
