When Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent have a night one stand after meeting at a party, Bruce starts looking Clark up and gets a call from Lex telling him to leave well enough alone, which does nothing to dissuade Batman. The more he investigates the more Clark's, Superman's and Luthor's very complicated relationship intrigues and fascinates him. And having the very logical reason of two of them being extremely powerful people, he feels justified.
I love this story, full of brilliant schemes and charged scenes but it is very dark. Warnings for graphic torture.
