Clark's decision to take AP Psychology changes the way he sees the world, and worse still, himself. Soon he's questioning everything he knows, from his True Love for Lana to Chloe's crush on him and his relationship with Lex, so simple and so complicated all at once, so obviously right and so abnormal when examined.
Masterfully done, I just read it for the third time and I added an extra half point because it's seriously brilliant. It's a really long story, 38.000 words, but it does not waste time, all of Clark's questions are very good ones and all his angst, as teenaged as it is, is both in character and interesting to observe. The only con is that while reading this I always end up questioning reality myself, as in, is reality real and why, maybe because this fic feels so overwhelmingly present.
