"Drop Dead Gorgeous" by Maya(or Mistful)
First read: 03-10-2008.
Notes: 135.000 words. In the very first scene his boss, Shakebolt, and Slughorn, inform Harry that Lily wasn't completely Muggle but had Veela heritage, as did Voldemort, resulting into Harry getting quite a fair bit himself and, in the present, causing trouble with his abstinence. Draco Malfoy, now Harry's auror partner, almost pisses himself laughing, but he soon will be the first trying to help Harry solve his problem. Harry, though, is sending pheromones left and right because he wants to attract the person he's in love with and doesn't dare confess to. Through flashbacks we learn how they were paired together and how they went from partners to best-friends, dragging their old friends with them into a Slytherindor group that contains the most hillrious relationships. I didn't like the ending all that much but DDG will still remain one of my favourite fics ever, full of UST, friendship, danger and incredibly comical situations that could only happen with Draco Malfoy around. I will add some quotes when I re-read.
