Notes: 16w. The mission of the day goes wrong, they are together in the cell in the middle of a building that's missmatch of all the technological societies of Pegasus (Wraith and Ancient included), being held captive by people who besides stunners use spears. And they end up taking Rodney away to do who-knows-what. Even more strange not long after Teyla seems to be able to feel Rodney the way she does Wraith. *Little Spoiler* In the end Rodney returns, drugged up to the gills and takes them to the Gate, when he gets there he kisses John and then pushes him through the wormhole. The Gate is blocked from that side and they can't return but Teyla says Rodney gave her a message: nobody with the ATA gene can return to that world but especially not John.
I can't say there's any brilliant premises or anything, it's a Sheppard study more than anything and it's fucking incredible and insightful so, while not my favourite Cesperanza fic it's still a fantastic read. The reading was a bit uneven, having been cut into parts or something.
