pir8fancier is one of my favourite writers ever, I have re-read her fics multiple times, each time liking them better. So this fic didn't have it easy, and it started quite slowly. Over all I liked it but I didn't love it, it didn't have the passion that her fics usually have, it didn't overwhelm me and what should have made me cry (spoiler: Snape being a portrait and they being unable to consummate anything) didn't work because it had been used too many times before and it was way too predictable from the beginning. Again, I liked it but not for a Pir8fancier.
