Notes: 28.000 w. I had tried reading these authors before ("Two Lockets") and they hadn't quite worked for me. There wasn't anything wrong per se... it just, didn't. This story is fantastic: after DH, Harry finds Snape in a travelling Circus where he has a show mastering snakes, who are, after Nagini's attack, the only beings with whom he can speak. The whole imaginery is beautiful, the sex is, as usual, pretty boring (except when the snakes talk about their "mating" or when they get tangled with them in bed and you start wondering about bestiality).
