Because I have five seconds...
I won't be updating much. I haven't been updating much, so I don't know how this first statement comes as a surprise.
I was really busy over winter break while on vacation (sounds impossible, but it's true), and now that I'm back at school I'm busy again. I just spent about 4 hours writing a 3,500-word essay for Mr. Vargish, because I could. I don't even know why I do these things, except that I feel like I have to.
I have three IB projects to work on: a Scarlet Letter oral presentation for English, an investigation into the nature of matrices for Math, and an experiment for Psychology. So those are taking up time.
Also, I'm applying to a three-week summer course in creative writing at Stanford, and the application is due for early review by January 20th. So I'm busy with that as well.
And, as if that wasn't enough, January 14th and 15th are Mission Viejo High School's MUN conference, which I will be working to sew together with needle and thread at the rate we're going...things are falling apart, and I have to be there to help put them back together. It's nice to be capable of the helping, but it still takes time. Also, the fact that I'm head chair of my committee means that I have to coordinate everything to deal with 63 separate delegates. That also means I have to coordinate the grading of position papers for 63 delegates. Each delegate writes three papers, one on each topic. Even with Claire and Jesamay (my fellow dais members) to help me, it'll be hard.
But that's my life right now. Before I go to bed I think I'm gonna read fanfiction, because it'll make me happy to laugh at the mistakes and misfortunes and flat-out funniness of someone else for a change.
