Pomp and ... circumstances?

Mr. Meckley cannot correctly pronounce the title of Elgar's piece.  It makes me smile, and yet bleed from the ears at the same time.

So, gradutation is over, and Em is free.  It was a calm ceremony.  Amber's speech was decent, Ronnie's was teary, and Missy's was funny.  We sat and applauded at all the right moments.  Emmy graduated!  Holy cow!
Afterwards, it was a huge mass of hugging and crying, and there was a mini-2004 reunion at the same time.  I never realized how many o my classmates had siblings/close relatives graduating in Em's class.  I got to see Aja, whom I haven't seen in ages, Sara, ditto, and, most surprisingly, Steve!  All the way from MIT!  It was a meeting of the ages.  :)
Aftetrwards, we headed on down to Westminster for pub night, in which I discovered that my tolerance for a pint has gone.  But, then again, it had been a long day.

Today was laundry, lounging, and shopping.  Ah, a break.
