paws to consider

I'm going to make Felina's cat hat out of the Party Animal pattern, with a tail hanging down the back, like a coonskin cap, and stubby little legs--paws, really. It's going to be a tuxedo cat, with black body and tail and a white face. Should the paws be white or black? Some of each?

For whatever it's worth, Dad: white at both ends; Mom: white in front (to match the face) and black in back.

For us, maybe the bigger question is, Who is Felina and why does she have a
"cat hat"?

Thanks for the suggestions. I wound up going with all black, though.

"Felina DeVille" is my costume idea for the convention next March; the cat stole and bag are also for this costume, as is the tuxedo cat blouse. The character is supposedly the sister of Cruella DeVille, the villainess of _101 Dalmatians_, who wanted to make fur coats etc. out of the dogs. Felina, as her name implies, is similarly interested in cat furs.
